Bobbie Joe Jackson, 97, of Odessa, Texas, passed away on October 7, 2020.
Bobbie Jackson was born in Carbon, Texas on December 30, 1922 to the late Archie Jackson and Jewell Jackson. He entered into the army June 1943 and was discharged in March 1946. He also graduated from Hardin Simmons University.
He worked as a chemist for Phillips Petroleum for 37 years. Bobbie volunteered his time to the hospital auxiliary at Medical Center and at First Baptist Church in Odessa, Texas. Bobbie is survived by his brother Drew Dan Jackson and wife, Bertie Jackson of Cisco Texas. Sisters Betty Jackson of Dallas, Texas and Pat Sims of Graham, Texas. And several nieces, great nieces and great- great nieces as well nephews, great nephews and great-great nephews.
Bobbie is preceded in death by his Parents, Archie and Jewell Jackson, Brothers, Leland Jackson, and Lavern Jackson, Dwain Jackson, Heppy Jackson, Sister, Lou Ann Griffith, Niece, Jill Naill and Nephew Greg Sims
