Elaine Anne (DeMarey) Luthman age 76, of Maineville, Ohio passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Saturday, December 31, 2022. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on September 16, 1946. She is survived by her children, Scott (Tricia) Luthman, Jennifer (Anthony) Boldman, and Allison (Daniel) Reynolds; 10 Grandchildren; Brother Ron DeMarey, Sister Patsy Maloney; and a host of other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Joseph Luthman, and her parents Henry and Patricia DeMarey. Elaine loved traveling, playing bridge, cooking for a crowd, and was an unbeatable Scrabble player. She enjoyed her career as a preschool teacher and director. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren Cassie and Nicholas Luthman; Jacob, Chase, Carly, Laney, Ava and Luke Boldman; and Zoe and Layla Reynolds. Family and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Elaine at a Mass of Christian Burial that will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 3, 2023, at the Ascension Catholic Church in Kettering, OH, with a reception to follow. Immediate family will honor her inurnment at Calvary Cemetery in Dayton, OH, where she will lay to rest eternally next to her loving husband.
