Martha went on to marry John Basham sometime around 1860 and had James A listed as a Basham in the 1860 census; however, listed in the 1870 census are 6 other children ranging in age from 9 to 0 along with James Alexander Meadows
By 1900 Martha is listed as widowed head of household with grandson William Basham and grand-daughter Louvernia Harney living still in Jumping Branch Mercer Co WV. She is listed as the mother of 10 children, 7 of which are still living as of that 1900 census.
