Teresa worked many years as front desk clerk before returning to school to get her GED and then became a CNA. Teresa lived by her church and family. She enjoyed several years teaching a Sunday school class at her church, First Bible Baptist, which she attended since 1994. Teresa loved all the children she taught and always went out of her way to make others feel welcomed.
Teresa was married for 42 years. She is survived by her husband, George Baker; three sons, Alfred, Cory, and Travis; sister, Denise Head; daughter-in-law, Carmen; three grandchildren, Emma, Cillian, and Connelly; aunt, Deloise Harris; and several beloved nieces and nephews. Teresa was a special woman who touched many lives. She was loved by all who knew her, and she will be missed greatly. Teresa’s memory will always stay close to our hearts.
