OXFORD - John Allen Mangum, 31, a resident of 7648 Cornwall Road, died in an auto accident on Friday, August 17, 2007. He was of the Baptist faith and was employed by Wal-Mart Inc. in Raleigh.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Eakes Funeral Chapel in Oxford. Burial will be in Mt. Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Surviving are his mother, Patricia Jones Mangum; a sister, Christal Mangum; two daughters, Jetta Mangum and Gracin Powell; a son, John Junior Mangum; maternal grandmother, Christine M. Jones; and paternal grandmother, Irene W. White.
