Patricia Ann Stephens, 80, and her husband, Billy J. Stephens, 81, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at their home.
Joint Life Celebration services will be at 3 p.m. on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main St., Jeffersonville, IN. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral center.
Patricia was born on July 20, 1940 in Corydon, IN to the late Thomas and Amelia Horne. She was a former employee of the American Red Cross.
Billy J. was born on February 11, 1939 in Columbia, KY to the late Paul and Kate Stephens. Following his time spent working at First National Bank, Billy took on a job as a Stagehand in the Local 17 IATSE Union, and worked there until his retirement.
They were united in marriage on October 11, 1958. They both adored their family, and always looked forward to lunches and dinners spent together. They also loved spending time with their friends and family at various places around town, and loved supporting local businesses.
Along with their parents, they are preceded in death by Patricia's sister, Jean Green; and Billy's brother, Don Stephens.
Left to cherish their memory is their daughter, Cynthia Strong and her husband, Stephen of Mount Washington; grandchildren, Dalton and Devan Strong; Patricia's sisters, Violet Olson and husband, Eric, Margie Curtis and husband, Mike, and Suzanne Hill and husband, Denny; and a host of extended family members and friends.
