Thomas Charles Ball was born on June 18, 1919 in Columbia, Tennessee, the son of Thomas Larrimore Ball (1886–1955) and Annie (Porter) Ball (1882–1929). {In the 1920 census Thomas Charles Ball was listed as William Ball age 9 months, and in the 1930 census he was 10-year-old Tiny Ball.}
A drill operator at Eller & Olson Stone Company and living at 3716 Park Avenue in Nashville, he was 41 years old and single when he died at home of a probable coronary thrombosis on January 6, 1961. Burial was three days later in Woodlawn Cemetery, Nashville.
