Stephen was born March 3, 1941 in Warsaw, IN the son of Joseph and Florence Chambers. Stephen served his country as a soldier in the United States Army. Following his tour of duty, Stephen resided in Anderson, IN most of his life. Following his parents to Washington, IN, Dogwood Lake, Stephen was able to enjoy his passion, fishing.
Stephen is survived by two brothers and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Florence Chambers.∼Stephen Michael Chambers, 78, passed away September 24, 2019 at Miller's Merry Manor in Middletown, IN.

Also surviving are nieces, Natalie (Taylor) Kelly of Midway, KY and Tiffany Miller of Noblesville; nephews, Michael (Monica) Chambers of Roswell, GA, Jeffrey (Alisa) Chambers of Atlanta, GA, Brad (Julie) McCord of Noblesville and four great- nieces and eight great- nephews.
Stephen was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Florence Chambers.
The family would like to thank the staff of Miller's Merry Manor of Middletown for the care and kindness shown Stephen.
As per his wishes cremation will take place. There will be no visitation and Private family services will be held at a later date.
