He was born February 1, 1926, in Ben Lomond, Arkanss to the late James "Burt" and Vercie Breedlove. He served in the Army and lived in the Tyler area since 1962.
He is preceded in death by; brother, Charles Dunson; and stepfather, Albert Dunson.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Olevia Hill Breedlove, sons, James Breedlove, Van, Texas, and Earl Dean, Fort Worth, Texas; daughters, Sue Breedlove and Patricia Holmes, both of Tyler, Texas; sister, Nadine; brothers, Donald Dunson, and Dannie Dunson; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
