Gregory D. “Mississippi” Duke, 56, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on June 15, 1961 in Jackson, Mississippi, the son of Charles Duke, Jr. and Ada Ruth (Dye) Duke. Greg was married on April 16, 1983 to Rebecca R. (Mustachia) Duke. He was a former truck driver for Trimac in Louisville, Kentucky and a Baptist. Greg was preceded in death by his mother and a sister, Paula Davis. Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Duke; two daughters, Ashley Waggoner and Britaney Duke both of Scottsburg, Indiana; a son, Gregory D. “Sonny” Duke, Jr. of Underwood, Indiana; his father, Charles Duke, Jr. of Horn Lake, Mississippi; a sister, Lexa Duke of Horn Lake, Mississippi and four grandchildren, Hunter and Jaxon Waggoner, Annabelle Morris and Gabrielle Duke.
