Gregory Dean "Sonny" Duke, Jr., 27, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2020 at Scott Memorial Hospital. He was born on September 10, 1992 in Tupelo, Mississippi, the son of Gregory Dean Duke, Sr. and Rebecca R. (Mustachia) Duke. Sonny graduated from Scottsburg High School in 2011 and then served in the Indiana Army National Guard. He was a machine operator for Genpak in Scottsburg, Indiana, enjoyed video games, working on Demolition Derby cars, lazy rivers, fishing and rapping. Sonny's favorite rapper was Eminem. He was preceded in death by his father, Gregory Dean Duke, Sr. Survivors include his daughter, Reyna Hope Duke of Seymour, Indiana; his mother, Rebecca R. Duke of Scottsburg, Indiana; two sisters, Ashley Waggoner and Britaney Duke (Anthony Roberts) all of Scottsburg, Indiana; his granddad, Charles Duke, Jr. of Horn Lake, Mississippi; two nephews, Hunter and Jaxon Waggoner and two nieces, Annabelle Morris and Gabrielle Duke.
