Joshua Hamilton, 38, of St. Albans, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020, at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston, WV after a long battle with liver disease.
Joshua was a loyal, loving and caring person with a kind heart to all who know him. He loved sports, traveling, golf, fishing and the beach, but most of all, he loved being with his daughter, Kami, who became the #1 love of his life the first time he laid eyes on her. Joshua was a 2000 graduate of Nitro High School and attended West Virginia State College, Institute, WV. He was employed by Gestamp, but was recently laid off due to COVID-19.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Keith and Mary Hamilton and Rev. Lee and Jo White and his step dad, John Dickensheets.
Joshua is survived by his girlfriend and partner in life, Tiffany Carpenter and their daughter, Kamryn Hamilton; his father, Larry Hamilton (Lynne); mother, Janet Ocheltree (Ron); along with aunts, uncles and cousins.
A private service will be held at noon Saturday, October 10, at Barlow Bonsall Funeral Home, Charleston, WV, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Pastor Ron McClung will officating.
