Mitchell Bryan Perry of Asheville, North Carolina, died Sunday, October 4, 2020. He was twenty-eight.

Mitchell was the son of Suzette Artensey Taylor and James Bryan Perry, born March 24, 1992, in Henderson County. He was a lifelong resident of the Asheville-area, and attended AC Reynolds High School. Music was important to Mitchell.

Mitchell was preceded in death by his sister, Amanda Louise Taylor.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandparents Mitchell and Donna Taylor, and Susie Perry; brothers Michael Allen Penland and his spouse, Gabrielle, Derick Scott Perry and Dillan Dale Perry; aunts and uncles Keena Taylor, Misty and Keith Craig, Kevin and Kathy Taylor, Frank and Geri Perry, Nick and Sara Perry, and Chris Perr; cousins Cody Craig and his children, Pearson and Arleigh, Dakota Craig, Jessica Craig, Andrew Dylan Taylor, CJ Taylor, Anna and Joe Perry, Will Grimm and Zeb Grimm; and nephews Walton Tate Ratliff and Tyler Jace Ratliff.

A service will be held in Mitchell’s honor at three o’clock the afternoon of Saturday, October 10, 2020, at Richland Baptist Church. Visitation will begin at two o’clock, and Jack Gassaway will officiate.
