Barbara Ann Shockley Nichols went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on October 6, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer. Barbara was born in Youngstown, Ohio, on September 6, 1947, to Lyndol C. Shockley and Anahid Topalian Shockley. At an early age she moved to the Cambrian Park area where she lived for the remainder of her life. She met and married her childhood sweetheart and lifelong love Joe Nichols in that same neighborhood.
Barbara was an astute and very successful businesswoman in the software sales arena. She mentored many others and will be fondly remembered for her help and generosity.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by many nieces and nephews who cherish her memory.
Barbara will be buried in Los Gatos Memorial Park under the direction of Darling-Fischer Chapel of the Hills Funeral Home.
