Funeral service for lawrence (Larry) G. Flynn, 77,Carmen Avenue, Holly Hill, Who passed away Friday at Florida Hospital Oceanside, will be held Thurday, September 20,2007 at the Dale Woodward Funeral Home, 167 Ridgewood Ave., Holly Hill with the Rev. Roy Huling officiating. Interment will follow.Friends wishing to call and pay their respects may do so Wednesday from 6:00 p.m., untill 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Flynn was born in Illinois and moved to this area 58 years ago from St. Cloud-Kissimmee, Florida. He was a retired lather in the construction business and attended Prince of Peace Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Living Legends of Auto Racing and the Victory Lane Racing Association. He was a Multiple track champion in Florida, Georgia and the Carolina's. Mr. Flynn was a former NASCAR driver and loved racing. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth; a daughter, Robin Richardson, Pierson, Fl.; a son, Garry Flynn, Holly Hill; a brother, Jerry Flynn, Kissimmee, Fl; six grandchildern; and seven great-grandchildren. Mr. Flynn was preceded in death by his son, Kenny.
