She was the daughter of the late Robert Earl and Pauline Spivey Caviness. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Malcolm Rufus Carroll and John Wayne Jacobs; son, Bradley Rufus Carroll; and brother, William Robert Caviness. She was survived by two sons, Chris Carroll and companion Sylvia Jean Watson and Melvin Scott Carroll (Eratta); daughter, Robin Carroll Smyth ; seven grandchildren, Danyell Lewis (Steven), Bradley Carroll, Toni Carroll and James, Candice Liverman, Brandon Carroll (Jasmine), Tyler Liverman, and Christopher Carroll II; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Juanita Phillips; and special uncle, Raymond Shackelford.
