Mrs. Junk spent a lot of her life abroad with her first husband who was in the Air Force. She worked in Civil Service for many years. She loved the ocean and collecting sea shells.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Junk of Cookeville; her daughter, Lana Atkins Osborne, and husband, Will Ed Osborne of Cross Plains; grandchildren, Dr. Katie Osborne of White House, Samuel Osborne and wife, Rachel of Cross Plains, Sara Osborne of Springfield and William Osborne Jr. of Russellville, KY; great-grandchildren, Caroline Rose Green and Eliza Mae Osborne; and special nephew, Randy Joheson.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her siblings: Ollie McCord, Brownie Adams, John Everette Jr., and Ann Joheson.
There will be a private burial at a later date.
