Susan E. Mason, age 62, of Detroit, passed away October 3, 2020. Beloved wife of Renea Forrest. Dear sister of Bob Mason, Virginia Holk, Charles Mason, Elizabeth (Kevin) Brock and Kathleen (Dimitri) Tsalopoulos. She was aunt to many nieces and nephews whom she loved. Also survived by many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Walter Mason and Thelma Grace (Brown) Mason.

Susan started her career as a floral designer and went on to own her own design studio, Bella Flora in Birmingham. Susan did hundreds of weddings, parties and events. She received several recognitions, including Style Magazine Favorite Florist 2004, multiple events published in Hour Magazine Detroit, including Event of the Season 2001 and published in Town Magazine.

A public memorial visitation will be held at Wm. Sullivan and Son Funeral Home, 705 W 11 Mile Road (4 blocks E of Woodward), Royal Oak on Monday, October 26, 2020 from 1-3:00 p.m., followed by a private memorial service. Due to COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home is limited to 10 people in the visitation room at any given time and masks are required to enter the building.
