A native of Cincinnati, Ohio she was born Dec. 18, 1953, daughter of the late Bishop Bruce Melson and Lula Mae Hayes.
She was employed as a certified electrician for Southern California Edison.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Samuel Bruce Melson and Joseph B. Melson.
She is survived by her husband, Harry Z. Talley, Clarksville; a son Antonio (Savanna) McKee, California; a daughter, Brenda (Cordney) Taylor, Clarksville; two sisters, Dorothy Jean Uwaifo and Rosa Esther (David) McMillian both of Nashville; and six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
