Anthony "Tony" Ervin Moore
June 2, 1952 - October 7, 2020

Anthony “Tony” Ervin Moore, age 68, of Seymour, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour, surrounded by his family.

Tony was known for his love of automotive racing, particularly dirt car racing. Upon retirement, Tony’s knowledge, expertise, and experience provided a grand opportunity permitting him to travel much of the United States and Canada providing technical car inspections for North America’s premier tracks, race teams and promoters.

Born on June 2, 1952, in Scottsburg, he was the son of Charles and Florida Boshears Moore. Tony was a graduate of Scottsburg High School. On November 4, 1977, he married JoAnn Eisele and she survives in Brownstown.

Survivors also include two sons: James Cody Moore of Seymour, and Patrick Coby Moore of Brownstown; one sister, Regina Moore Jenkins of Zionsville; one grandchild: Cohl (James Cody); and several nieces and nephews.

Tony was exceptionally proud of his grandson, Cohl, who has seen great success competitively bowling, as a youth, throughout the United States and Midwest region.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents and one brother, Millard Moore.
Private family funeral services for Anthony “Tony” Ervin Moore will be held.

Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown.
