Linda S. Schneider
Linda S. Schneider, daughter of the late Ben Dambach and Coena Georger Dambach, was born on September 15, 1954 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and departed this life on October 8, 2020 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, at the age of 66 years.
Mrs. Schneider was a former employee of Missouri State Schools for students with severe disabilities, working as a speech pathologist. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dexter, Missouri and a resident of Dexter.
On September 15, 1984, in Dexter, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Jim Schneider. Mr. Schneider preceded her in death on May 20, 1986.
She is survived by two brothers, Dan Dambach of Dexter and Karl Dambach and wife Phyllis of Dexter; by her sister, Marla Knutson of Dexter; by her nephew, Chris Knutson and wife Diana of Chaffee; by two nieces, Amy Moon of Dexter and Brandi Robinson and husband Jeremiah of Dexter; and by seven great nieces and nephews.
Other than by her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Greg Knutson.
Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dexter on Sunday, October 11, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral mass will then be conducted at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Monday, October 12, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. with Father David Dohogne officiating. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery. The family requests that everyone wear facial coverings.
