Michael Evans Fowler, 59, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2020. He was born on December 6, 1960 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Evans and Christine (Antle) Fowler.

He enjoyed camping, spending time outdoors and classic cars. Michael was an avid cyclist and fan of the Louisville Cardinals. He lived life to its fullest. Michael had an infectious laugh and everyone always loved spending time with him. He was a proud member of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church.

Michael was also preceded in death by his sister-in-law, June Fowler.

Michael is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Annette (Andres) Fowler; children, Adam Von Dwingelo (Juanita), Lauren Fowler (fiancée, Chris Armstrong); grandchildren, Aiden McKinney, Kai Von Dwingelo, Viviann Armstrong; siblings, David Fowler (Lynn), Robert Fowler and Cheryl Schaefer (Bob).

Cremation was chosen following Michael's wishes. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with a sharing of memories beginning at 5:00 p.m. His memorial mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church (5719 St. Mary's Road, Floyds Knobs). He will be laid to rest privately at a later date at St. Mary of the Knobs Cemetery.
