Christopher Gibson, of Ogallala, passed away on October 7, 2020, at his home.

Christopher was born March 26, 1979, at Denver, Colorado, to David and Diane (Pierce) Gibson. He graduated from Ogallala High School with the class of 1997.

Christopher started his working career pumping gas at Armstrong's before going to work as a cook at Front Street, which he did for several years. He later worked for ACI and Sapp Brothers.

Christopher loved watching Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, and listening to hard rock music. He liked to travel and was always on the move. Christopher picked up his enjoyment for cooking from his work. He also liked to play video games.

Christopher was preceded in death by his wife, Dena; brother, Douglas Lee Gibson; sister in law, Crystal Gibson; and two nephews, Kyle Robert and Levi David.

Survivors include his son, Casimere of Thornton, CO; parents, David and Diane Gibson of Ogallala; along with his cousins and many friends.

Celebration of life open house will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the Prairie Hills Funeral Home in Ogallala. Inurnment will be in the Ft. McPherson National Cemetery at Maxwell.
