She is survived by her husband, George A. Foster Jr. of King and Queen; two sons, George A. Foster III of Newport News and Brian Foster of Woodbridge; four daughters, Lisa Foster of Mathews, Nancy Teel of Richmond, Veronica Foster and Shawn Foster of Newport News; three sisters, Pauline Ward and Mary Montague of Mathews and Mattie Holmes of Newport News; two brothers, Welford Smith of Atlantic City, N.J., and Roy Smith of Philadelphia, Pa.; and 12 grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at Emmaus Baptist Church, North, by the Rev. Ivory T. Stokes. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Viewing will be today from 1:30 to 7 p.m. at Forrest Brothers Funeral Home, Mathews Chapel.
