Terry Lynn Jackson was born May 27, 1954 in Vandalia, the son of Charles H. and Faye L. (Hunter) Jackson. He worked for Owens Brockway in Vandalia where he did decorating set up, preparing the machines for the bottle labels. He was a lifetime member of IFOR (Illinois Federation for Outdoor Resources).
Terry loved anything and everything outdoors; whether it be hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting, trapping, gardening, or woodworking. He also enjoyed helping with FuNFest, their annual family festival to support Neurofibromatosis research.
He is survived by his daughter, Amanda and husband Brian Walk; stepson, Timothy Shipley and wife Robin; granddaughters, Jordan and Isabella Walk; bonus grandson, Dylan Reeter all of Vandalia; brother, Jerry Jackson of Greenville; sisters, Ina Mae Aldridge of Kingman, IN and Judie and husband Dale Hans of Kodak, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Johnny Keith Hunter, Danny Eugene Jackson, Gary Dean Jackson; sister, Linda Lou Jackson; and his Labrador, Sue.
