Singer, Composer. He is widely considered one of the most significant figures in Spanish rock music. De la Rosa began his career with the groups Nuevos Tiempos and Tabaca, and in the mid-1970s won fame as a co-founder of Triana, a very successful act of the time. He later enjoyed popularity as a soloist and composer. His influence has been recognized by contemporary singers such as Alejandro Sanz or Manolo García. De la Rosa's many songs include "En el Lago", "Abre la Puerta", "Rumor", "Tu Frialdad", and "El Patio". He died in a car crash.
