~~Mr. Brian David Boyd, of Lyndonville, passed away on June 4, 2017 at the Martin-Linsin Residence following a courageous battle with cancer.
Brian was born in Medina, December 2, 1978, a son of Candy L. (Woodward) Schoenle and Ralph R. Boyd, II. He was a graduate of Medina High School, class of 1997 and Niagara Orleans BOCES Machine Tool Program. In 2004, he moved to Minnesota where he earned a certificate in computer drafting and design from ITT. Brian was employed as a manager, by Son-D-Farm in Worthington, MN.
Brian enjoyed video games, golf, heavy metal music especially Avenged Sevenfold, fishing and his summers with his children and family. He recently moved back to the area due to ill health.
Survivors include his children Elijah Boyd of Lyndonville and Katelyn Boyd of Minnesota; his mother, Candy (Thomas) Schoenle of Apopka, FL; his father, Ralph (Vicki) Boyd, II of Lyndonville; his brother, Ralph “Rusty” (Jenelle) Boyd of Lyndonville; his sisters, Tanya Boyd of Los Angeles, CA; Jessica (Ronald Jr.) Breed of Franklin Square, NY, Thomas (Courtney) Schoenle of Tonawanda and Geralyn (Tyler) Blossom of Arlington, VA; 5 nieces and nephews, Lily and Mason Boyd, Anastasia and Layla Breed and Preston Blossom; grandparents, David and Patricia Woodward of Medina, Bonita Boyd of Akron and Gerald and Joan Schoenle of Cheektowaga.
Friends may call on Thursday (4-7) at the Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina. Interment will be in Hartland Central Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Orleans, Inc, POB 489, Albion, NY 14411
