August 10, 1957 - October 5, 2020

Gerald L. "Jerry" Evans, 63 of Winston-Salem, NC, formerly of Princeton, died Monday, October 5, 2020, in Winston-Salem. Born August 10, 1957 in Princeton he was the son of Shirley Anne Ohde Evans of Princeton and the late George Lewis Evans. Jerry was a 1975 graduate of Princeton High School and a 1980 graduate of West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV where he did his undergraduate studies and graduated with a degree in Pharmacy. He was a Registered Pharmacist with Home Health Care Pharmacy. Jerry was an avid runner and participated in numerous half marathons and some full marathons. He had donated over 100 units of blood in his lifetime and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Princeton. In addition to his mother, his is survived by one brother, George William "Bill" Evans of Richmond, VA; and three nieces, Erin, Haley, and Melissa Evans. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00PM, Friday, October 9, 2020 at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Princeton with Pastor Tom McDowell officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
