Sharon Rose Chastain, 77, of Anderson, passed away on Oct. 5, 2020, at her home.
She was born April 3, 1943, in Noblesville, and resided most of her life in Anderson.
Sharon was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a homemaker and attended the First Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed music and church activities. She attended most of the Elvis impersonator shows. She worked at Walmart for several years before retiring. She loved her family and her friends.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Memphis E. Huston and Helen L. Huston.
She is survived by her siblings, Sandra (Bill) Wren and Larry (Marsha) Huston; children, Sherry Castor, Mathew (Linda) Castor, and Tracy Castor; grandchildren, Angela Rose Castor, Cassandra Neff and Christina Rose Castor; several great-grandchildren including Caleb Wheeler and Blake Wheeler; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Carol Davis, Debbie Caplinger, and Trish Massey.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2020, from noon to 1 p.m. at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson, followed by the service at 1 p.m. officiated by Bishop Danny St. Clair. Burial will take place in Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
