Luciana Ellis Johnson, 74, of East Orange, N.J., passed away on Monday, April 9, 2012, at the Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville, N.J. Born in Jamaica, West Indies, Luciana was a resident of East Orange for eight years. She worked as a nurse's assistant for the Daughters of Miriam Nursing Home in Clifton, N.J. for 25 years before retiring. She was the beloved mother Claude Johnson and his wife, Lasson; Senior Johnson and his fiancee, Ordel; Barrington Johnson and his wife, Beverly; David Johnson; Douglas Johnson and his wife, Marlene; Juliette Johnson-Watson and her husband, Radcliffe; loving sister of Maise Saunders and Constance Ellington. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
