Billy Joe Bell was born on April 17, 1929 to Manny and Mable (Reed) Bell . He went to be with his Lord on October 3, 2020 at the age of 91. Bill grew up in Hugo, Oklahoma and was drafted into the Army after graduating high school and working for some time. He moved to Broken Arrow with this wife Loy and worked for American Airlines for 37 years. After retirement, Bill worked for the Triad Eye Institute driving a van. Bill loved to travel, play dominoes, and spend time with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 3 sisters, his wife Loy (Garrett) Bell of 65 years, and his son and daughter-in-law Darren and Leazanne Bell. Bill is survived by his oldest son Roger and wife Sherry of Broken Arrow; grandson Brandon of Tulsa; grandson Kevin and wife Tracey of Norman; grandson David and wife Kourtney of Bixby; and granddaughter Sarah Stout and husband Timothy of Tulsa.
Visitation will be held from 3 pm - 6 pm on Tuesday, October 6 at Floral Haven Funeral Home.
Services will be at 2pm on Wednesday, October 7 at First Baptist Church of Broken Arrow - 100 W Albany St, Broken Arrow, OK 74012
