She was born on May 4, 1914 in Skedee, to Eugene Harold Eaton and Mary Margaret (Leabo) Eaton. She earned her teaching certificate from Oklahoma A&M, then taught at Stillwater and was an LPN for many years. She was a member of the Eastern Star.
Surviving is a son, Perry Eaton Poling and his wife, Roberta, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, Eugene and Mary Eaton; and husbands, Lester M. Cooper of Cheyenne, Wyoming who died in 1976, and Daniel Jacob Poling who died in 1985, plus 5 brothers - Charles, Vernon, Howard, Warren and Buford Eaton and 2 sisters Edna Wilson and Laveda Miller-Cunningham, and a grandson, Daniel Poling.
Graveside services were held Friday, November 23, 2001 at the Skedee Cemetery under direction of the Bill Merritt Funeral Service of Oklahoma City.
