Mark was born October 8, 1968 to the late Frank Edward “ Pinky” Goodson and the late Marcia West Goodson. He was a native of Gainesville, Florida where he had resided before moving to the mountains of Haywood County to make his home. Everyone blessed to know Mark will forever remember his great interest in science fiction, his great love of the Star Wars movies, and also gaming every chance he had. Mark deeply cherished his family and his memory will remain with each of them forever. He was a great brother, a special uncle, and a good and devoted friend.
He is survived by his brother, Frank “Ray” Goodson and sister-in-law Beth Good son of Canton; three nieces, Cara Goodson DeGeyter of Interlachen, Florida, Morgan Goodson and Lindsey Goodson of Waynesville, NC; also two great-nieces both of Interlachen, Florida and his special cat,“Tiger”.
To honor Mark’s request no formal services will be held.
