Sylvia M. Boyd, 74, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020 in Amarillo.

Sylvia was born and raised in Sayer, Oklahoma on March 3, 1946 to her parents Graham Richards and Vera Toy.

She lived a very fulfilling life and always wore a smile every day. She worked for Levi Strauss for over thirty five plus years and enjoyed working for the handicap children and assisting them as a bus driver. Sylvia was a very proper lady and loved everyone like if they were her family. She enjoyed cooking and loved to attend Christian Church of God. Sylvia was extremely artistic and enjoyed spending time with family.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children, her daughter Janet Colden and her husband Steve Cubitt of Clarendon, TX, her son William Andrew Bennett and his wife Angie of Amarillo, TX, five grandchildren Jessica McAllister, Lexie Nicole Bennett, Hope Demery, Konscience May Cubitt, Quen Bennett, her brother Noel Richards. She will be missed by a loving family.

Preceded in death by her husband James Thomas Boyd, Jr., her parents Vera Toy and Graham Richards, her brother Ted Toy.

Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at the Christian Church of God at 1:00pm with Pastor Jeff Booth officiating.
