Deanna Carpenter Carter, age 66, of Bean Station, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville surrounded by her family. She was a member of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church and was dearly loved by her family and will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her father, Hoover Carpenter. She is survived by her son, Micheal (Katrina) Carter; mother, Clella Marsh; grandchildren, Haley and Katelyn Carter; honorary granddaughter, Alex Beckler; boyfriend, Ron Peppi; special friends, Darlene and Gail; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday, October 8th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Clayton Coffey and Rev. Truman Coffey officiating. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, October 9th at Helton Cemetery in Bean Station. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
