Jeanne Latham Reynolds was born on September 26, 1926, in Los Angeles, California, daughter of Olive and Dana Latham. She lived in Los Angeles with her parents and two sisters, Corinne and Polly. She graduated from Marlborough School in 1943 and then attended Wellesley College in Boston for two years before transferring to UCLA. While at UCLA, Jeanne earned her Bachelor's Degree in Education and was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. In 1946 she married Richard Alden, who had graduated from USC Law School. Together they raised a family with three children: Dana, Amy, and Anne.

Following her divorce from Richard, Jeanne married Byron (Bo) S. Reynolds in 1971. The couple's first home was in Brentwood, California; they then moved to Carpinteria, California, in 1991. There they spent 14 lovely years with their family and friends at the beloved beach house until relocating to Montecito, California. Jeanne and Bo lived happily together with their blended family which included Cindy and Debby Reynolds, in-laws, and numerous grandchildren, until Bo's death in 2007. Jeanne resided in the couple's Montecito home until her passing.

During her long life, Jeanne served as a pledge alumnae advisor to the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority, President of Patronaire, an affiliate of the Assistance League, Board Member of the Girls Club of Los Angeles, and Board Member of the Pasadena and Los Angeles Junior Leagues.

Jeanne leaves behind her much-loved children and stepdaughters, grandchildren, and a great-grandson, as well as her sons and daughters-in-law. She will be remembered as our strong and inspiring matriarch who was passionate about her family and friends. She could "work" a room at a party like no other. Jeanne had a unique ability to draw people out and make them feel like the most important person in that room. Sharp and analytical, she also kept her family honest in a good-natured way. Her passing leaves a void in our hearts and in our family. Rest in peace, Jeannie Bandini, Queen of Dunghill!

Donations in memory of Jeanne may be made to the Santa Barbara Cancer Center. Services Pending.
