Donna Jean Pearson a long-time resident of Fort Worth, TX, passed away peacefully on Friday, Oct 2, 2020 at Brookdale-Tanglewood Oaks Assisted Living Community.
Donna is survived by her daughter, Angela Eaton of Fort Worth, TX; her son, Barry Pearson and wife. Jennifer of Vineland, NJ; her grandson, David Monk and wife, Lindsey, their two children, Royal and Forrest; and Caitlin Monk and partner, Aaron Cook, and their daughter, Arwen; as well as many nieces and nephews. Donna is predeceased by her husband, Alec B. Pearson; her parents, Lloyd and Nadine Nicholson; brother, Lloyd Curtis Nicholson; sisters, Loretta Nicholson and Mary Ann Tomblin; and her granddaughter, Ashley Elizabeth Monk.
Donna was born on August 16, 1938 to Lloyd Clifton and Mary Nadine Nicholson in Lamar County, Texas. After graduating from Lamar High School in 1956, she and her parents moved to White Settlement, Texas, a suburb of Fort Worth. In 1957, Donna met Alec B. Pearson and they wed in 1958, going on to have two children, Angela and Barry. Donna was an industrious homemaker to her family and a dedicated volunteer to several different Christian outreaches such as Bread Basket Ministries. She attended Heritage of Faith Christian Center for several years and enjoyed the friendships that she established with many of the ladies there. She loved nature and being outdoors. Tending to her flowers and watching the different birds that would populate her backyard brought her great joy.
