Benjamin Lee Gibson, 39, of Curtis, WV passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020. He was born on August 16, 1981 in Lorado, WV a son of the late Arnold and Daisy Mae Gibson Osborne. Ben worked as a clear cutter. He enjoyed camping, fishing and tinkering around on anything that needed fixed.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother, Ray Gibson. Those left to cherish his memory include his girlfriend Janice of Curtis, five brothers Daniel (Brenda) Gibson of Curtis, Andrew (Victoria) Gibson of Curtis, Early Gibson of Toney Fork, Manuel (Sue Ann) Gibson of Curtis and Donnie Gibson of Curtis; four sisters Edith Smith of Curtis, Ettaff Osborne of Curtis, Freda Osborne of Glen Daniel and Norene Gibson of Madison; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Monday, October 12, 2020 at God’s Lighthouse in Curtis, WV with Brother Jason Hawkins officiating. He was laid to rest in Gibson Cemetery, Curtis, WV. Pallbearers were family and friends. The family was served by Stanford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV.
