Daniel K. Morrison
Daniel K. Morrison, 68, of Clarksburg passed away on Friday April 14,2017 at his home.
He was born on November 30,1948 in Montgomery, WV, a son of the late Arden Lawrence Morrison and Ressie Siers Morrison.
Daniel is survived by his son, Dr. Kristian Morrison and his wife Dr. Ruthanne Watkins, of Bridgeport, and their children, Christopher, Abby, Isabella, Lydia, and Daphne Morrison, his three brothers, David Morrison and his wife Kathy, Douglas Morrison and his wife Winda, Dewey Morrison and his wife Bobbie, as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by his brother Delmas “ Doc” Morrison
Daniel was a retired aircraft mechanic with over 40 years of service. Daniel was a loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family, especially his grandchildren whom he loved very much. Daniel was a very devoted Christian and enjoyed singing in his church choir.
Friends may call at the Harmer Funeral Home in Shinnston on Monday April 17,2017 from 4-8 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00 am with Pastor Robert Shingleton officiating. Interment will follow at the Shinnston Memorial Cemetery.
