Billy Richard Blankenship age 63, of Raven, Virginia passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020 in Tazewell, Virginia.

He was born November 11, 1956 in Richlands, Virginia and was the son of the late Bill and Genet Blankenship. He was a lifetime resident of the area. He was loved by many and will be missed.

The funeral service for Billy R. Blankenship will be conducted at 12:00 pm on Friday, October 9, 2020 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, Virginia with the Rev. Danny Short officiating. Interment will follow at the Blankenship Family Cemetery in Rowe, Virginia. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers. The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the funeral home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday and Thursday night at the funeral home beginning at 6:00 pm.
