Dennis Burgess,63, of Westlake, Louisiana passed away on September 11, 2020 in New Orleans, La. He was born to parents Ivory Slater Burgess Sr. and Bertha Mae Burgess on March 6, 1957 in Lake Charles, La.
His hobbies included riding motorcycles with his son, listening to 60’s and 70’s rock music, and mechanical work. He is preceded in death by his father, Ivory Slater Burgess Sr.; brothers, Ivory Slater Burgess Jr., Alfred Burgess; sister, Naomi Harrington. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Rebecca Suire; sons, Ivory Burgess and wife Victoria of Moss Bluff LA, Jason McClintock of Sulphur, LA; One granddaughter, Aria Mae Burgess.
Visitation will be held at Hixson of Moss Bluff from 11am until 1pm on Saturday October 10, 2020. Service to follow at the funeral home at 1pm. Burial to follow at Magnolia Westlake Cemetery.
