ZARATZIAN, GEORGE J., Sr. of Waterford; February 23, 2020; age 89; Beloved husband of Virginia, the love of his life for over 70 years; Dear father of Debra (Greg) Cota, Raeann (Bob) Hinds and George Zaratzian, Jr. Also cherished by nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Also cherished by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Zaratzian was retired from Dearborn Frozen Foods and worked in the meat industry for most of his life. He served in the National Guard and loved living on Elizabeth Lake. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 1, 2020 from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Riverside Chapel, Simpson-Modetz Funeral Home, 5630 Pontiac Lake Road, Waterford. Private interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery, Detroit.
