Terry Mack Myers, 59, of Troy, died Saturday, October 3, 2020 at FirstHealth Hospice and Palliative Care in Pinehurst.
A Graveside Memorial Service will be 11:00 AM Thursday, October 8, 2020 at Candor Cemetery, with Rev. David Wade officiating.
Born in Moore County on October 10, 1960, he was the son of Carl McLeod and Josephine Johnson Myers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a niece, Sally Elizabeth Moore.
Some of the things that Terry most enjoyed were amusement park rides, family gatherings and eating his favorite foods. Terry’s parents, Josephine and Carl Mac, often said that the silver lining of the Down Syndrome cloud was how loving and sweet he was and how his presence enriched our family. His endearing spirit will forever be in our hearts.
Terry is survived by 3 sisters, Sally Myers Moore of Raleigh, Patrice Myers Monroe and husband Randall W. of Eagle Springs, and Susan Myers Twyman and husband Gregory D of Advance; 3 nieces, Mary Stuart Sadler and husband Emory, Claire M. Taylor and husband James, and Sara T. Landis and husband David; nephews, Drew M. Monroe and wife Jamie and Joseph D. Twyman; a number of great-nieces and a great-nephew.
