Cheryl graduated from Lincoln West High School in Cleveland. After graduating, she studied to become a State Tested Nursing Assistant, and she was a Nurse Tech for more than twenty years.
She moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1997. Cheryl enjoyed shopping, helping and taking care of others, cooking, dancing, having parties and most of all spending time with all her grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, Wiley Ross; father, William H. Davis; mother, Betty Jean Davis; sisters, Victoria Merrick and Katrina Davis; brother, Patrick Davis; and sister-in-law, Alberta Davis.
Cheryl is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Davis; brothers, Darrell Davis, William N. Davis, Ricky (Betty) Davis, Michael (Vanessa) Davis, and Willie (Judy) Davis; children, Antjuan Davis, Lawrence (LeTisha) Davis Antinette (John) Davis and Jason (Alethea) Davis; grandchildren, Antynyse (Jarod) Davis, Craig Wilson, Jr., Jianna Davis, Jaylin Davis, Jordyn Davis, Kamryn Davis, Kamari Davis and Julius Davis; great-grandchildren, Journey Jackson and Jarod S. Jackson Jr.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
