Bobbie Nell was born in Winston County on August 13, 1940, to Paul and Louise White Blanton. She was a member of Murphy Creek Baptist Church of Louisville. For many years she was very involved as a Vacation Bible School worker and choir member at Evergreen Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing the piano, singing, needlepoint, and cooking and caring for her family.
Bobbie Nell is survived by her husband of 54 years, Mack Paul King; her daughter, LeAnne King Cheatham and her husband, Robert, of Newnan, Georgia; son Kevin King and wife, Rhonda, of Louisville; her sister, Paula Louise Blanton of Tunica, Mississippi; and her sister-in-law, Pat Blanton also of Louisville. One of her greatest joys was being "Gran" to her four grandchildren: Caroline Cheatham Everett (John); Matthew Cheatham; Kimberley King Sharp (Justin); and Kathryn King White (Jon). "Gran" loved her great-grands, Paul Michael Sharp and Collins Sharp and was looking forward to the birth of another great-grandchild in June.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Gene Blanton.
Services are under the direction of Nowell Massey Funeral Home, 724 North Columbus Avenue, Louisville, MS.
