Floyd Glenn Lane, Jr, 81 of Grandview, MO passed away May 7, 2011. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Thursday, at the funeral home.
Floyd was born Jun 4, 1929 in Kansas City, Missouri to Helen and Floyd Lane, Sr. He met Rosalie, his wife of 61 years in art class at Northeast High School in 1948. He retired as Sergeant First Class from the United States Army. He enjoyed traveling, gardening, and art.
Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Jacklyn Whitman. Survivors include his wife, Rosalie (Poe) Lane; children, Michael Lane, James Lane and Rozanna Eastland; grandchildren, Holly Cartegena, Jessica Eastland, Christina Eastland and Eric Eastland.
