Jesse Frederic Beavers, born in Wise County, Texas was the youngest son of William Lafayette and Mary Ann (Watson) Beavers. After the death of William Lafayette, the responsibility of caring for his mother fell to Jesse Fred after she had lived with other members of the family. The two of them moved to Nienda, Texas where Jesse began learning the business of running a cotton mill.

It was here where he met and married Virginia Boyd, the daughter of a local widow. Married on September 19, 1909, they were the parents of four children before Virginia died from the Spanish flu which killed so many between 1917 - 1919.

After Virginia's death in 1919, Jesse Fred had the job of caring for their four children until he married Viola McCracken whom he met at her job with Central Power and Light in Hamlin while operating a gin in Tuxedo, Texas. Jesse Frederic and Viola were the parents of four additional children and Viola cared for the whole group while she and Jesse made several moves as Jesse was very active in business and some politics in Jourdanton, Texas.

Jesse Frederic Beavers is buried in the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery next to his second wife, Viola.
