Homer Bryant, 79 of Pemberville, passed away, Friday, October 2, 2020 at Wood County Hospital, Bowling Green, OH.

He was born on March 18, 1941 in Virgie, KY to Henry and Goldie ((Ray) Bryant. On May 22, 1965 he married Virginia E. Compton in Pikeville, KY. Homer and Virginia have raised two sons and celebrated over 55 years of marriage.

He worked as a Machine Operator at the Chrysler Plant in Perrysburg for 30 years before retiring.

Family always remained an important priority in his life. Homer would often travel back to Kentucky and visit his extended family members. In addition to watching boxing on TV, Homer enjoyed the outdoors, including: walking, hiking, hunting and especially fishing. But it was family, his wife, his sons and their children that were his greatest joy.

In addition to his wife Virginia, Homer is survived by his sons: Greg (Jessica) Bryant of AZ, Michael (Renee) Bryant of Luckey, 5 grandchildren, 2 sisters and 3 brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister and 2 brothers.

Homer will be laid to rest in a family Committal Service at Eisenhour Cemetery, Pemberville, OH.

The family request that memorials take the form of contributions to: Bridge Hospice Care in Bowling Green.
