On Monday, September 14, 2020, Leslie Dale Jones (Dale Jones) of Bly, Oregon, loving father of five children, passed away at age 84 in Klamath Falls, OR.
Dale was born on September 3, 1936, in Prairie City, Oregon, to Earle and Nellie (Pflughaupt) Jones, the second of five boys.

Dale held several jobs and worked for a contractor for the Forest Service cutting wood in 1959. That same year he was drafted into the US Army, where he worked as a heavy machine operator for three years in Fulda, Germany, and was honorably discharged as a Specialist. Dale returned to Paisley, Oregon, and worked as a ranch hand for ZX Ranch. In 1969 he moved to Bly and worked for the Double S Ranch. In 1971 Dale worked for Weyehaesuer sawmill as a millwright.
