CHARLESTON, SC - Clyde Carnes, 74, of Charleston, SC, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2010, at the VA Medical Center in Charleston, SC, after a long battle with cancer. He was a Korean War Veteran, a retired electrician, a loving husband and father. Clyde will be remembered by many for his wonderful sense of humor and his ability to fix anything at The Asonborough House. He is survived by his wife, Jene, two daughters; Linda Bremenour and husband Tom, of Summerville, SC, Glenda Kay Greco, and husband Frank, of Rock Hill, SC, one brother, Olin Carnes, of Columbia, SC, one sister, Evelyn Threatt, of Lancaster, SC, five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A private Memorial Service was held at the VA Medical Center, in Charleston, SC. Memorial contributions in Clyde's honor can be made to The American Cancer Society. Arrangements are being handled through PALMETTO CREMATION SOCIETY, Charleston, SC.
